On Friday, May 23, 2025, EUROMETAL proudly participated in the final Steel Warriors event organized by Belmetal at the Brielpoort plant in Deinz.
This unique initiative brought together 14 school classes from all over Flanders and Wallonia as part of the national Steel Warriors competition organized by Belmetal. During the school year, students teamed up to develop creative projects related to steel, presented them to the jury, and promoted them on social media.
At the final event, dedication, talent and teamwork were highlighted, culminating in the awarding of the "The Drop" prize, specially designed by artist Kevin Oyen, to the winning team.
EUROMETAL congratulates all participants and applauds the efforts of Belmetal, in particular President Vanessa Espil and Managing Director Dominique Laurent. — for their commitment to popularizing steel among the younger generation.
Such initiatives are necessary to build bridges between education and the steel industry, as well as to inspire the next generation of talented professionals in our industry.
EUROMETAL's participation also provided a valuable opportunity to establish cooperation with Belgian steel distributors and partners of the event, which further strengthened ties with the national community of steel distributors.
