EU anti-dumping duties on Chinese wind tower are about to expire

The European Commission has published a notice of the impending expiration of anti-dumping measures on imports of certain utility steel wind towers from China, which expire on December 17, 2026, unless a review is requested, Kallanish notes.

The current advertising duties were introduced on December 15, 2021.

Manufacturers from the Union may request a review of the validity period if they can provide sufficient evidence that the expiration of the measures is likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and damage.

Any request for review must be submitted no later than three months before the expiration date, which means that the deadline for submitting review requests is September 17, 2026.

If an inspection is initiated, the measures taken will remain in force for the duration of the investigation.
