Salzgitter has announced the opening of a new training and communication center at Ilsenburger Grobblech, the largest manufacturer of quarto tableware in the group.
The modern training center will be used not only to train young professionals, but also to improve the skills of Ilsenburger Grobblech employees in the long term. In particular, the center will be available to industrial mechanics, for whom the company offers up to twelve internship places per year in addition to other types of professional training.
Callanish understands that, thanks to investments of several million euros, Salzgitter and Ilsenburger Grobblech jointly emphasize the importance of continuous learning with a career perspective in the group.
The construction of the center was funded by the federal and state governments, which, according to Salzgitter, is a joint signal from politics and business about the future viability of Ilsenburg as an industrial area.
The official opening of the new building took place last Friday in the presence of the Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, Sven Schulze.
"Especially given the demographic changes in Germany, investments in training future qualified personnel are of great importance for business placement," Schulze said.
