The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has mastered superheavy pipes weighing more than 3 tons and up to 7 meters long.

According to standard technology, a pipe with a wall of 50-60 mm has a length of up to 5 meters and a weight of about 2 tons. A special technology has been developed to produce a pipe that is a third heavier.
"Such products are used in mechanical engineering and construction projects. The customer uses already rolled pipes for the hydraulic cylinders of the shaft racks that hold the floors in the shaft. Similar products are also used in the construction of offshore wind farm berths and supporting structures for infrastructure facilities, such as bridges or stadiums. This is a complex niche product that significantly expands the company's capabilities in the European market," the company noted.
In 3 years, Interpipe's R&D team has offered the market more than 250 new types of pipes, most of which are niche products for mechanical engineering, construction and energy.
