Metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in January 2026 produced 0.51 million tons of steel, which is 16.3% less than in January 2025, according to the operational statistics of the Ukrmetallurgprom association.
Last month, there was also a decrease in pig iron production by 7.6% compared to January 2025, to 0.55 million tons.
The production of rolled products during this period decreased by 15.4% year-on-year and amounts to 0.41 million tons.
