ALROSA has summed up the results of the international auction on sale of special size diamonds (more than 10.8 carats) in new York. Views of rough diamonds were held in the trade representation of company ALROSA USA Inc.
the Company sold 93 diamond total weight 1 carat 560, receiving sales revenue in the amount of $ 11 million. This is the best result in recent months. In the auction was attended by 95 companies from the USA, Belgium, India, Israel, UAE, Russia and Hong Kong.
"this year's Last auction in the USA ended with a good result. The range had a lot of stones with high quality-colour characteristics, and also some diamonds fancy colors. The auction attracted interest from buyers and traditionally brought together participants from different countries, including more than 20 companies from the USA", - commented on the results of the auction, Deputy General Director of ALROSA Evgeny Agureev.
In 2019, ALROSA held four auctions in the United States. Taking into account the results of previous auctions, the total revenue from auctions in the country this year had exceeded $ 38 million.
