The US introduces preliminary duties on aluminum profiles from China, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey

The U.S. Commerce Department announced preliminary countervailing duties on aluminum extrusions from China, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey on Tuesday, citing unfair subsidies.

DOC calculated countervailing duties for each country in the following ranges: imports from China at rates from 15.41% to 169.66%, imports from Indonesia at rates from 6.69% to 43.56%, imports from Mexico at rates from 1.68% to 77.80% and imports from Turkey at rates from 1.45% to 147.53%.
