TMK and the Ural Center for Security Systems will jointly implement IT in industry

The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and the Ural Center for Security Systems (UCSB) will cooperate in the field of industrial digitalization. As part of the agreement, which was signed at the INNOPROM-2026 International Industrial Exhibition, the partners will also focus on developing human and scientific potential in the field of information technology.

The document was signed by Dmitry Yakob, TMK's Deputy General Director for Information Technology, and Valentin Bogdanov, General Director of the UCSB. As part of the cooperation, the parties will, in particular, jointly develop proposals for improving, testing and implementing solutions in the field of information technology and cybersecurity, automation of production processes and the use of artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, TMK and UCSB intend to improve standards in the field of digitalization in the metallurgical industry.

"TMK has broad competencies in the digitalization of production and business processes and is ready to share its best practices within the framework of an intersectoral dialogue. Together with the Ural Center for Security Systems, we will conduct training events for employees of IT departments, promote the exchange of experience and improve standards in the field of building secure information systems. This work is designed to help expand the industry's educational and scientific base," said Dmitry Yakob.

Ural Center for Security Systems is a federal system integrator and provides services for the creation, protection, modernization and maintenance of IT infrastructure, as well as the implementation of engineering systems.

Earlier, at the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR-2026) forum, TMK signed an agreement on cooperation in countering cyber threats with the Solar Group of companies. The document provides for the creation of standards and solutions in the field of cybersecurity for the pipe industry, as well as the introduction of secure development practices.
