Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) presented the best practices in the field of sustainable development of territories, creating a comfortable environment in the cities of its presence and improving the well-being of employees at the INNOPROM-2026 International Industrial Exhibition.
The Director of Personnel Management at Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant (PNTZ) spoke about the key areas of the company's human resources development Natalia Babilurova at the session "Sustainable Development of territories: the role of business in shaping the quality of life and human capital," organized by the Kommersant-Ural publishing house.
"TMK systematically improves the quality of life in the cities of its presence. We pay special attention to the accessibility of medicine, create conditions for professional and personal growth of employees, and ensure a decent level of income at enterprises. TMK makes every effort to ensure that employees are healthy, productive and socially secure," Natalia Babilurova said.
She noted that the staff welfare program focuses, among other things, on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The enterprises have implemented robotic systems for blood pressure monitoring and body composition analyzers. During the year, more than 98 thousand measurements were carried out, which allowed for a 30% reduction in the number of sick days and a 20% reduction in their duration. TMK also implements initiatives on healthy eating, smoking cessation support, and infrastructure development, including renovation of corporate recreation centers.
"The priority of TMK's social policy is to increase the life expectancy and quality of employees. We consistently create a culture of conscious attitude to health, so that professional growth and a healthy lifestyle become the new norm at all enterprises of the company. TMK's practice proves the high efficiency of such solutions, and we have something to share with other companies in order to replicate the best practices in the industry," Natalia Babilurova emphasized.
TMK also presented its expertise in a number of other areas at INNOPROM-2026. The company's speakers took part in round tables, pitchings and business sessions, including: "Technical regulation to protect the interests of industry", "Industry of the future.
