Sixteen high school students, seven of whom came from Germany on exchange, visited the metallurgical production of the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works (MMKI). This was reported in Metinvest-Mariupol on your Facebook page.
Within the framework of the exchange program "Mariupol-Vitmund two cities by the sea", students from the school named after Alexander von Humboldt from German Witmund came to schoolchildren from the Marupol city lyceum.
In order for the guys to get to know Mariupol better, a number of excursions were conducted for them. During one of them, high school students got acquainted with the metallurgical kitchen of the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and its history.
As the schoolchildren noted, in words, metallurgy is simple: the ingredients are placed in one container, heated, mixed and poured into a slab. In fact, it turned out that the work of a metallurgist is a difficult and responsible job.
Following the visit, the exchange participants will create videos on the topic "Sustainable tourism in an industrial city".
