The converter shop has developed and mastered the production technology of new grades of low-silicon steel for new customers. For SSAB enterprises in Finland - steel grade Grade 2626 with a residual silicon content of not more than 0.05%. For NLMK LA LOUVIERE in Belgium - steel grade DUC007 with a strict restriction on the content of non-ferrous impurities and nitrogen.
In the plate shop of MK Azovstal of the Metinvest Group, the company's specialists produce sheets of alloyed high-strength steel of the S550Q grade, used in construction and engineering for welded metal structures. Also, the technology for the production of sheet products with a thickness of more than 50 mm from structural steel of the S355J2W grade with improved properties of resistance to atmospheric corrosion, which was previously produced only in thicknesses up to 50 mm, was mastered.
For Arabian International company for steel structures from Saudi Arabia, the steel plant produced A537-2 MT steel sheets for the manufacture of water tanks for seawater desalination. It complied with an additional requirement - a minimum tempering temperature of at least 650 degrees Celsius.
