Energomashspetsstal manufactured the first of five slag carriers for ArcelorMittal Temirtau

ArcelorMittal Temirtau is the largest enterprise in the mining and metallurgical sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a regular customer of Energomashspetsstal's metal products. Partnership relations between enterprises have been going on since 2010.

The specialists of Energomashspetsstal have manufactured and are preparing for shipment to the customer a slag truck. The total weight of the product is almost 50 tons.

Slag carrier is designed to transport liquid molten slag in a bowl with a capacity of 16 cubic meters.

The tilting mechanism of the slag carrier ensures the tipping and return of the ladle to its original position. Depending on the direction of rotation of the electric motor, the bucket tilts in the appropriate direction.

The frame of the slag truck is a welded structure with struts supported by two bogies.

A significant contribution to the fact that the delivery of the slag carrier from Kramatorsk to Timirtau took place was made by the Kazakhstani enterprise AsiaTyazhMash LLP. At the same time, it can be said that only thanks to AsiaTyazhMash LLP, this project will be able to be implemented.

Located in Almaty, AsiaTyazhMash LLP specializes in the selection and design of industrial equipment, as well as the implementation of integrated solutions for new construction projects and the modernization of existing enterprises.

In total, according to the contract, the enterprise will manufacture five such slag carriers for Kazakhstani metallurgists.

Energomashspetsstal (Kramatorsk, Ukraine) is the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of special cast and forged products of individual and small-scale production for metallurgy, shipbuilding, energy (wind, steam, hydro, nuclear) and general mechanical engineering.
