Two new units of mining equipment - Caterpillar 374F excavator and Hyudai HL780-9S wheel loader arrived at the Uchalinsky GOK motor transport enterprise (UMMC raw materials complex enterprise).
80 ton Caterpillar 374F excavator with a bucket volume of 4.5 m 3 is already shipping ore and rock in the open pit of the Zapadno-Ozernoye deposit. The equipment was assigned to a crew of 4 experienced drivers who appreciated all its advantages.
“New, powerful, reliable. It has all the conditions for comfortable work: climate control, air conditioning, good sound insulation. Large carrying capacity - we load 4-4.5 ore buckets and up to 7 rock buckets into a dump truck, ”says excavator driver Elmir Karimov.
Up to 10 units of equipment of a motor transport company leave for a shift in the Zapadno-Ozerny quarry - about 7 dump trucks (BelAZ, Volvo) and 2-3 excavators.
“The new Cat 374F excavator differs from its existing counterparts by its low operating costs. In addition, this model has been presented with higher standards in terms of environmental protection, safety and comfort of drivers, ”notes Artur Ibatullin, head of the maintenance service for motor and tractor equipment.
The new Hyudai HL780-9S front-end loader is involved in loading ore into railway dump cars at the industrial site of the Uzelginsky mine. Among its distinctive features are also high performance and an ergonomic control system.
