The most important thing in automobile scales is a strong and even monolithic foundation; the accuracy of the readings and how long the equipment will work depend on the quality of the foundation construction. And regardless of whether the entire foundation sank or only part of it, the owner of such equipment inevitably begins to incur losses.
Recently, one of the agricultural enterprises of the Altai Territory turned to us for technical advice. On the territory of this enterprise, more than 5 years ago, truck scales with the highest weighing limit of up to 60 tons and a long loading platform up to 18 meters were installed.
More than once, the management of the enterprise noticed discrepancies in the amount of raw materials shipped and actually accepted by the client. After clarifying questions, it was decided to visit a service engineer to carry out a complete diagnosis of the installed scales. After carrying out the diagnostic work, the engineer concluded that the quality of the foundation work was poor, due to which there was a subsidence of a part of the foundation, a breakdown of the bolted joints, as well as a curvature of the weighing platforms.
Such execution of the project will allow carrying out weighing under any weather conditions and greatly simplify the regulated maintenance of scales. For the project, a team of specialists in the construction and installation direction was formed, possessing the necessary qualifications and experience in the implementation of such projects. The customer provided all the necessary equipment for dismantling and construction work. The weather conditions during the construction of truck scales were favorable, even taking into account the northern location of the region and the approach of the winter period.
But when installing a closed canopy, our specialists repeatedly postponed work so as not to disturb the technological process and perform all work at a high quality. All work was completed within the established timeframe, these truck scales also passed the initial state verification and were accepted by the customer in full.
