The delegation of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) is taking part in the international conference "Oil and Gas of Sakhalin 2019".
Sergey Chikalov, Deputy General Director of the company for scientific and technical development and technical sales, spoke at the conference. He noted that TMK has made a technological breakthrough in the framework of import substitution of pipe products for Sakhalin offshore projects. As an example, he cited cooperation with Sakhalin Energy - TMK has gone from qualifying pipes to industrial deliveries to the customer. According to Sergei Chikalov, TMK sees the next step in the transition from import substitution to comprehensive service support for the supply of premium pipes.
“TMK is changing the paradigm of its work on the market: from a supplier of unique products to a provider of global customer service. In this regard, we are opening a representative office of the company in Sakhalin. It will provide technical support to our consumers on the island, ensure the supply of premium products and appropriate service support, ”concluded Sergei Chikalov.
