OJSC “BMZ” - the management company of the “BMK” holding continues to strengthen its positions in the world steel market in the segment of products for the automotive industry. According to the results of the first half of the year, the plant has already shipped more than $ 35 million worth of rolled metal for this industry. By the end of the year, this figure is planned to be doubled.
BMZ began active work on organizing the supply of rolled metal for the automotive industry in 2015 with the commissioning of a section rolling workshop No. 2. Since then, the company has been approved for the supply of 65 types of metal products from 35 companies in the automotive industry. Among them are such eminent consumers as Hirschvogel and MahidraForgigs, which produce components for the world's leading auto concerns DAIMLER, Volkswage, Reault, etc.
& bsp; & bsp; Of course, this result was preceded by a long and painstaking work of the plant services, which does not stop and continues to bring new consumers to the plant. So, this year, after a 4-year approval process, BMZ received its first industrial order for 900 tons of wire rod from one of the leading European manufacturer of shock absorber springs. In 2019, stable supplies of products were also started for the Belibey plant of auto-normals “BELZAN” (RF), which is one of the largest manufacturers of special fasteners for the automotive industry in the Russian Federation. This year BMZ also received its first pilot order for round rolled products from the well-known bearing manufacturer SKF. At the same time, work is underway to expand cooperation with other consumers: Krasik (Poland), ZKL-Bro (Czech Republic), Schafler (Germany). The supply of round steel is increasing for the largest European manufacturer of auto components - Hirschvogel, whose factories are located in Germany, Poland, Mexico and the USA.
& bsp; & bsp; Along with building up its export potential, BMZ does not forget about domestic consumers. For example, by order of the Belcard plant, the production of rolled products from a new steel grade with increased hardenability was mastered.
& bsp; & bsp; At present, BMZ's product line intended for the automotive industry includes hot-rolled round bars with a diameter of 30 to 160 mm for auto components, round bars of bearing steel grades, rolled bars and coils for the manufacture of springs and special fasteners, as well as seamless hot-rolled pipes for the production of axles. .
