On February 27, at the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, employees and labor collectives were honored, which in 2019 demonstrated the best results in work and social life. The awarding ceremony at the traditional Professional Olympus ceremony was held in 23 nominations, 3 of which are special.
Dmitry Aleksandrovich Korchik, General Director of the enterprise, addressed the plant workers with a welcoming speech. He noted that 2019 was held at BMZ under the sign of the 35th anniversary of the plant. A busy year, with bright events, industrial achievements and victories in prestigious competitions.

By the end of 2019, BMZ produced the maximum volume of steel in the last 7 years & dash; 2.6 million tons. The production of rolled products reached a record mark of 2.3 million tons in the 35-year history of the plant. Together with the results of other workshops, this made it possible to export metal products worth USD 1.16 billion to 65 countries of the world, - said the head in his speech. - The past year went down in history with the implemented social projects. We laid a new alley in the city, held interesting mass events, published books about BMZ, attracted our partners to the arrangement of a modern workout area in the city.
