At the production of steel structures, JSC Uralelectromed made conductors for lifting /lowering people and rocks into the mine under construction. The exclusive order came from the miners involved in the development of the Korbalikhinsky deposit in the Altai Territory. The Ural parts will be used as guides for moving the cargo-and-passenger stands and a skip for transporting the obtained raw materials.
The guides are made of shaped angular bars 12 meters long and 200x200 mm in size. The workpieces are straightened, cut to length to the appropriate size and welded at the assembly site. The two corners are connected in a special jig, which was invented in the production of steel structures. With the help of screws, the structures are pressed against each other as much as possible from four sides, which allows them to perfectly weld together.
- We were able to fulfill the order with minimal time costs using innovative solutions. Often during work, especially when welding, the metal is deformed. To give the conductors a perfect shape, we have come up with a series of rigs. We placed them ergonomically on the site, increased labor productivity and reached the appropriate level of quality, - said the head of the assembly and welding section of PSK Sergey Bushmelev.
In addition, PSK uses a time-tested technology for working with long-length products. Welding is carried out in rigid pinching according to a specially developed scheme. First, the root of the seam is boiled, and only after that the main connection. This makes it possible to avoid stress concentrators and, consequently, to prevent microcracks in the weld seam, which may arise as a result of a constant shock load.
To date, Uralelectromed JSC has manufactured three batches of guides with a high quality guarantee for lifting people and rocks. Until December, the Ural enterprise will supply 16 more consignments of products to the Korbalikhinsky mine - 747 conductors with a total weight of 883 tons.
