Employees of JSC "uralmekhanobr" (scientific-research and design Institute UMMC) together with the specialists of diamond mining company ALROSA invented a system of chamber of mining of kimberlite ore with a bookmark of the developed space of underground mine "Aikhal" (resp. Sakha). JSC "uralmekhanobr" and AK "ALROSA" (JSC) have patented invented and introduced to the system.
Previously, seizure of stockpiles of kimberlite at the mine is carried out by the system layer processing. The miners it causes low strength and high structural weakening of rocks.

Chamber system enables the excavation of the ore with the highest possible geometric parameters while maintaining the stability of all system elements. This is due to the special arrangement of the cells in the so-called "staggered" order, when the top half of the camera is filling the array previously worked cameras and the lower half of the ore deepens in the array.
