PAT "Gaisky GOK" (enterprise resource complex of UMMC) has started construction of a mine shaft "East vent" on the Podolsk Deposit (Republic of Bashkortostan), which will become part of the underground mine, and in the future full-fledged mining and processing plant for mining Podolsky copper-zinc deposits. Gaisky GOK is the General contractor of this construction.

currently, the fenced area of the mine site is cleared of soil and the topsoil, paved temporary roads and preparatory works for the construction of trunk: dug a pit under the base of copra produced concrete preparation, exhibited stem form, with a diameter of 6.5 meters, dialed the reinforcing cages and the installation begins of the outer ring of the formwork to receive the concrete.
in Addition to the preparatory work on the site is under construction temporary structures: batching plant, fire pump station and storage tanks for the temporary storage of fuel and lubricants.
In the future, according to the project, in addition to the shaft, "East vent" specialists of Gaisky GOK will build two inclined shaft and one vertical. It is assumed that the trunks will go under the earth for almost 800 meters.
Recall that the ceremonial start of construction of a new underground mine was started in late August of this year. The first brick in the construction of a new mine laid by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan radium Khabirov and General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn. In terms of production Podolsky mine will be one of the largest in the country and will join the three key objects of the raw material base of UMMC. Proven reserves are estimated at 88, 6 million tons of ore. The license for the ore owned by the company UMMC – "Bashkir copper", the General contractor of the construction is JSC "Gaisky GOK".
