The rapid replacement of wheels on self-propelled mining equipment in an underground mine is one of the important tasks of enterprises that aim to improve safety and increase productivity. Most functions do not require manual labor, as the equipment includes a powerful manipulator with a lifting capacity of 3.0 tons with a lifting height of up to 3.5 meters and an extension of 1.5 meters.
The self-propelled BLT loads onto its own cargo platform, transports and installs complete wheels ranging in size from R12 to R29 and weighing up to 1.5 tons, as well as takes defective wheels to a repair center. The remote control allows the operator to perform all manipulations at a safe distance. And the built-in compressor makes it possible to pump tires directly at the work site.
For the comfort of the crew's movements, the BLT is equipped with a double cabin certified by ROPS and FOPS level 2. The wheel lift is quite compact: 2.2 m wide, 2.6 m high and 9.2 m long.
