The plant is being created on the basis of innovative, environmentally friendly FCIT technology, products will be supplied to enterprises of metallurgy, mechanical engineering and the defense industry.
The company plans to implement the investment project during 2026-2030 and create 157 new jobs, the government of Bashkortostan reported.
"The products are planned to be delivered to nearby consumers in Bashkortostan, the regions of the Volga and Ural Federal Districts, which have their own iron or steel smelting furnaces, by road. Products for export to the CIS countries and China will be transported by road to the railway station, loaded into gondola cars and transported."The investor has already reached preliminary agreements with potential buyers in Russia and China. Construction and installation work is expected to be completed in 2027, and in 2028 it will reach the design capacity of 332.5 thousand tons of products per year.
