The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) will help young scientists to implement their technological projects at their enterprises within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology. The company signed a corresponding trilateral agreement with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the autonomous non-profit organization National Priorities during the Congress of Young Scientists, which is being held on the federal territory of Sirius.
The document was signed by the Director for Innovative Development of the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) Yulia Shadrina TMK, Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Sofia Malyavina, CEO of ANO National Priorities.
Cooperation between the company and representatives of research organizations will take place on the basis of TMK's corporate accelerator of technological projects, a large—scale program created to support promising startups and jointly develop advanced technologies. TMK will accompany scientists who develop high-tech projects at all stages of their implementation, from the idea to the first industrial implementation. It is also planned to organize excursions to the company's scientific and production sites as part of career guidance.
"TMK is one of the undisputed industry leaders: They have been cooperating fruitfully with the scientific and technological community for a long time. And the STC TMK accelerator program is a sought—after tool that is popular with our main target audience — researchers and engineers," Denis said. Sekirinsky.
"At STC TMK, we actively involve young scientists in the joint development of new technologies and products, as we believe that nowadays new knowledge and competencies are born at the junction of technologies. The signing of this agreement today and the development of high-tech projects within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology will help us build a system of interaction between researchers and developers with our corporate science and technology centers, which in turn will accelerate the development and implementation of solutions in demand in the industry, as well as establish an effective communication system in the field of science and technology between research institutions and the manufacturing sector," Yulia Shadrina noted.
Thanks to the signing of the agreement, TMK expanded its participation in the Decade of Science and Technology, which is announced at the national level from 2022 to 2031.
"The new partners of the Decade of Science and Technology are conducting full-scale research and testing of the latest products and developments. By participating in their projects, talented young people get the opportunity to work.
