The Scientific and Technical Center (STC) of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation (MIC) are strengthening cooperation in the development and implementation of high-tech solutions at TMK enterprises. The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Yulia Shadrina, Director of Innovative Development at STC TMK, and Maxim Vlasov, Deputy General Director of MIC.
The document provides for cooperation in the search, selection and implementation of innovative solutions, including through the MIC "Customer Showcase" service. Participants of the Techlab Moscow program and other projects of the Moscow Innovation Cluster will be involved in the work, who will be able to refine technologies for the company's tasks. The agreement also provides for pilot testing of developments at TMK sites and joint promotion of successful solutions through business and educational events.
"The signed agreement will give a new impetus to fruitful cooperation between STC TMK and the Moscow Innovation Cluster for the development and implementation of breakthrough startups. It will allow both attracting promising and talented innovators to solve practical problems at enterprises, and sharing their expertise with cluster members to improve scientific and applied projects. The exchange of knowledge and experience between the scientific and industrial environment is the key to the development of not only TMK, but also the entire pipe and metallurgical industry as a knowledge—intensive and highly efficient production," said Yulia Shadrina.

This format allows us to connect real business tasks with strong developers and manufacturers, and accelerate the emergence of solutions that can be implemented into production processes," said Maxim Vlasov, Deputy General Director of the Moscow Innovation Cluster.
The Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation is an institute for the support of technological entrepreneurs in Moscow, which provides the creation, testing, scaling and market launch of advanced technological solutions. The program for the joint development of industry startups has been implemented by the foundation and STC TMK since 2020, during which time the partners have studied and helped finalize more than 150 projects, some of which have already been tested at the company's enterprises and technology sites in Moscow.
