November 20, 2019 the Swedish TV channel SVT was once again spread false information about the President of the UMMC group – the I. Mahmudov K. In particular, it was reported that a few years ago supposedly had some relation to Mr. Mahmudov, the company made about four payments totaling about one million dollars in favor of individuals associated with the American company Kalashikov USA, and that the alleged conduct of such payments from the Swedbak could constitute a breach by the Bank of U.S. sanctions.
This is not the first time a TV station SVT is trying to present, Mr. Makhmudov in an unfavorable light, using dubious sources and unverified information and should not represent absolutely no evidence, only unfounded assertions.
We have repeatedly reported TV channel SVT that we strongly reject all submitted information about Mr. Mahmudov designed to cast a shadow on his reputation, and urge you not to introduce third parties into error, by spreading false information. Unfortunately, in the pursuit of ratings, channel SVT continues to ignore our appeals.
All interested parties, we would like to inform you that Mr. Makhmudov had not committed the described channel SVT transfers through Swedbak in favor of the persons associated with Kalashikov USA, which could violate US sanctions.
