the Competition "ECO-projector" conducted by the public organization "Green city" for the second consecutive year with the support of "Mechel". Applications for participation in this year submitted more than a hundred young people aged 18 to 30 years. The results of the work of the expert Commission has selected 28 of the best projects of various kinds. Among the winning projects: "Ecological tourism", "City without garbage", "Landscaping Chelyabinsk", "Dispose properly", "Clean city", "Preservation of natural monuments" and others.
the winner of the competition was Pauline Khlebnikov, which proposed a project on the organization of environmental visits from schoolchildren and College students. The idea of the initiative is the detection of pollution in forests and transmission of the information data to the relevant organizations by using new technologies.
"it All started with the Chelyabinsk boron, but they, I think, will not stop, because there are many monuments of nature, to which people should pay attention. I am very worried about the project, afraid that I would not find the funds, but thanks to "Mechel" for what gave the opportunity for its realization", – says the winner of the competition of Polina Khlebnikov.
"Mechel" allocates grants for environmental initiatives is not the first year. The fact that the average ecoactivist can be supported by a large industrial enterprise and use it to implement their ideas, is a good example not only for large businessmen of Chelyabinsk, but for the whole country," commented a member of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation Felix gentry.
