To bachatskiy coal mine of JSC "UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol" (enterprise resource complex UMMC) commissioned the latest system technology of radio communications. A unique project was implemented jointly with the company "UGMK-Telecom".
Embedded radio system uses DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) Tier III. Advanced production equipment, the company Commuicatios Tait (New Zealand) replaced in bachatskiy coal mine, the radio system, which was based on the technology of the 80-ies of the last century.
the New system has the functions of the trunking – the automatic allocation of communication channels between subscribers. This reduces the number of required radio channels, occupies less resource of radio frequencies and to do with minimal equipment. The advantage of this technology lies in the fact that it provides instant connection with a group of people, which does not allow for mobile communication.
"Our company is the first in Kuzbass and one of the first in Russia implements a similar system, – stressed the head of the Department of energy of JSC "UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol" Sergey Covina. – Equipment is fully adapted to the Siberian conditions and in addition to standard for telecommunication feature set – such as the call one or a group of subscribers, General and emergency call and transmission of data – is able to track the whereabouts of the employee and mining equipment for GPS and GLONASS. Thus, the digital radio helps to solve the issues of industrial safety".
Stability and quality of new relationships in all areas of the branch is provided by two base stations can operate in standalone mode (without power supply) for more than 4 hours. To date, the bachatskiy cut put into operation 510 radio stations of the new format, 214 of which are transportable. In the future we plan a phased implementation of this system in all branches of the Company.
