BMK Museum has updated the exposition for the Victory anniversary

The Museum of Labor Glory of the Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (BMK JSC, part of the Mechel Group) has updated its exposition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Its opening was attended by the directorate of BMK and a veteran of the plant, front-line soldier Ivan Pavlovich Fadeev, who went through the war as a signalman and reached Berlin.

The BMK Museum opened a new exhibition, which consists of about 300 photographs of Beloretsk metallurgists - participants in the war and home front workers. Each of them contributed to the long-awaited victory. The collection of soldiers 'and officers' uniforms, headdresses of various branches of the military and post-war years was also replenished.

The museum also plans excursions detailing the contribution of BMK to the Great Patriotic War, history lessons for city schoolchildren will be held. Work is underway to prepare a brochure, which will include biographies of the BMK rear workers and war children.

“The BMK Museum not only carefully preserves history, but also conducts active educational and patriotic work. It is here that young people can learn a lot of interesting, important and informative about the past of the plant and the city, about the contribution of BMK to the Great Victory, "said Oleg Tertychny, director of the personnel management department of BMK JSC.
