In Kolchugino began design work on the reconstruction of the city Palace of culture, funded by JSC "UMMC". Sponsorship in the amount of 30 million rubles, the municipal authorities received in connection with the 80th anniversary of the plant "Electrocable" (included in the "holding Cable Alliance", uniting cable assets UMMC).
Kolchugin DK is a monument of history and culture of regional importance, in this connection, for the restoration work required the permission of the State inspection on protection of objects of cultural heritage of administration of Vladimir region.
the Building was built in 1902 by the Viennese architect Leo Bauer. Originally it was a folk house, erected on the initiative of the Manager of "Factories of the Partnership city" of Vladimir Ivanovich Fitting. During the great Patriotic war, the building housed military hospitals. Total area – about 2 thousand sq. m.
"In the course of design and survey works the building will be fully inspected, defects identified, conducted a comprehensive historical and archive and bibliographical research. The project is expected to be ready in the early summer of 2020, after which we will proceed directly to the repair work", - said Director of JSC "COPIES" Raul Toimatov.
One of the key aims of reconstruction is to restore the architectural-artistic design of interiors: stucco ("Stalin's Empire"), pilasters (smooth and framed), and also capitals of the ionic order.
"the Volume of repair work is simply enormous. Nothing like that in Kolchuginsky DK was already more than 20 years. It's really a gift to all our people, because almost every family connected with the Palace of culture. Here today, involved more than 600 people during the year within the walls of institutions held about 180 events", – said the Director of MBU "Ckpit the city of Kolchugino," Irma Trukhina.
