the Company "Kuzbassrazrezugol" (enterprise resource complex of UMMC) has started construction of treatment facilities at the taldinskoye coal mine. New environmental facility for treatment of quarry waste water for release into the river in the Taiga Kargi field of the enterprise, will replace the outdated wastewater treatment plant.





Hydraulic solutions project provides a multi-stage wastewater treatment. Technological scheme of the building includes three sump filter array, the system piping and instrumentation.





as the first stage of purification there will be two sump. By gravitational sedimentation to be cleaned from suspended solids of surface and mining wastewater, then the wastewater will pass through the filter array. This element of sewage treatment plants layered design: it consists of Sandstone, Gorelnik, limestone and zeolite - a natural material with unique adsorption properties, which was formed from prehistoric volcanic ash, subsequently cristalizadores.





After the final precipitation of contaminants in the third sump treated water will be discharged into the river Cyrgai. For monitoring the surface flow provided by the installation of three borehole piezometers (a device for measuring pressure of fluids), and to assess the level of water in ponds – a device with three gauges.





"this New facility at the taldinskoye coal mine will meet the requirements of legislation in the field of best available technologies. Enter key to the Company object into operation is scheduled for August 2020, says Deputy Director on capital construction of JSC "UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol" Eugene Buymov. – The productivity of the plants will be more than 2.6 million cubic meters per year. This capacity will support the requirements of the Taiga field in the purification of quarry waters that will reduce negative impact on the environment."
