the Contact rails are used in the construction of new and modernization of existing lines of the Moscow subway and used to supply current to the underground trains. Import-substituting production of a contact rail, the factory began in 2018 and supplying these products in JSC "Mosinzhproekt", the General contractor for the construction of new lines of the Moscow metro. March 27 at Nekrasovskiy and the Big ring lines of the Moscow metro opened six stations ("Southeast", "Okskiy", "Stakhanov", "Nizhniy Novgorod", "Aviamotornaya" and "Lefortovo"), in new products used "Izhstal".
In 2019 assumption set for the construction of the Moscow metro of nearly 6 thousand tons of rails during the cooperation – 9 thousand tons. Previously these products in Russia is not produced and shipped from abroad.
Besides Moscow, of interest to the contact rails production "Izhstal" have shown consumers from other Russian cities where building and repair of underground lines, including Kazan and Saint Petersburg. This year is also scheduled to participate in several tenders in CIS countries.
For the development of a contact rail "Izhstal" was awarded a silver medal by the largest Russian metallurgical exhibition "Metal-Expo", a group of the factory specialists involved in its implementation, became a laureate of the State award of the Republic of Udmurtskoi in engineering and technology.
