In the framework of the modernization of the foundry in operation has introduced a new molding machine for the manufacture of parts weighing from 2-3 pounds. In the foundry there is a similar equipment for production of castings from 100 kg to 1.5 tons. Thanks to the introduction of new machines greatly expanded the range of manufactured castings improved the quality of castings, reduced the costs of their finish.
Also commissioned the installation of cold-hardening mixtures for making molds for casting large parts, eliminating manual packing of such forms and improves accuracy of castings, allows to produce them as close to the finished part.
Earlier in the shop were set two light-duty electric arc furnace and upgrade of energy facilities.
