The visit to the plant was organized by the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region. The main purpose of the visit was to study the possibilities of cooperation between the Republic of Cuba and the Chelyabinsk region and get acquainted with its industrial potential. At the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, the guests were shown a modern rail and structural mill, familiarized with the possibilities of manufacturing rail and shaped products, including 100-meter rails for high-speed traffic.
