This unit is the primary metallurgical equipment designed for firing the charge in the process of production of blister copper. The kiln Park branch of the metallurgical plant of "Svyatogor" has 8 kilns. In contrast to the annual current repairs of capital is carried out with a frequency of 1 every 8 years. This is necessary to maintain safe and efficient condition of the equipment.
kiln No. 1 was shut down for renovations in November last year.
- At the stage of preparation for the overhaul has compiled a list of defects of components and mechanisms of the furnace needing repair or complete replacement - said senior master of the burning branch of the metallurgical plant of JSC "Svyatogor" Cyril Odintsov.
Tag in the list of works included a complete replacement of the refractory brickwork. These goals will require 180 tonnes of bricks. Also scheduled to perform a partial replacement of furnace shell, a Central shaft, Ogarkova and charge bunkers, and a driving mechanism. The cost of major repairs of the industrial unit will be about 9 million rubles. It is expected to be commissioned in June 2020.
