Brokk-170 is used for knockout of the lining (brickwork) from welz-furnaces. Over time, the lining wears out, and it formed dense growths (have build-UPS) that impair performance. As lining wear leads to increase of temperature of kiln shell and its stop, the necessary routine replacement of masonry. Until recently, remove the lining work had to manually, with a sledgehammer and a jackhammer, nastel also had to remove plasma cutting. The process took almost 9 hours. Car takes two times less time. In addition, when using the Brokk machine operator is away from the work area, a precision control allows you to perform work on the collapse of the lining, does not damage the furnace body.
Lining machine provides high quality masonry lining and eliminates attacks brick. Manually similar result to achieve was impossible.
"equipment hire in the past year showed good results: only two repairs'ts ovens we managed to save about 94 million rubles, so the decision was made to purchase machines in the plant property, - says the engineer of production management Alexander Tushev. – The use and dismantling of the machine allows to reduce the duration of repair and significantly improves working conditions of workers".
the Cost of buying two machines amounted to about 18 million rubles. In addition to knockout of the lining, Brokk-170 can be used when carrying out any dismantling work on the enterprise.
