joined the Social Charter of Russian business Russian Union
of Industrialists and entrepreneurs (RUIE).
Social Charter — a voluntary initiative of the Russian business based
on the understanding and recognition of the representatives of the business community the active role of
business in social development. At the core of the Charter lies a fundamental
principles of responsible business conduct, which defines the relationship
employee / employer, civil society institutions, government
agencies, the local community, the principles related to
environmental safety.
Charter adopted by the Congress of the RSPP in 2004, recognized by the Russian organizations
business and according to the official conclusion of the UN Global compact corresponds to
the UN.
currently, the Social Charter was joined by 270 organizations
(company, sectoral and regional business associations and other NGOs), with a total
number more than seven million workers.
