Company metalloinvest and Zagorski pipe plant (ZTZ) has completed a study on strategic partnership for the development of Ural Steel and ZTZ occurrence in capital of the company. According to the results of deep study and analysis of market conditions, the parties decided to continue the independent development of its assets.

Ural Steel is included in the company "metalloinvest" in 2006. Over the past 10 years the total investment in the development of the enterprise amounted to more than 25 billion rubles. The rejection of the outdated open-hearth technology and modernization of equipment allowed to reduce emissions by more than a third compared to 2006.
2017 metalloinvest is implementing a complex program of development of the Ural Steel. In 2019, completed the reconstruction of electric arc furnaces with the introduction of innovative technologies, flexible and modular furnace (Flexible Modular Furnace). Last year, the plant implemented a single integrated system of management of financial and economic activities based on SAP S4/HANA.
