MMK strengthens its position in the top 20 Forbes rating

Forbes has released another ranking of the 200 largest private companies in Russia based on the results of work in 2019. The rating list includes companies whose capital is controlled by private individuals (over 50%). The ranking indicator of the rating is the revenue for the previous year. Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in terms of revenue in 2019 ranked 15th in the rating, thereby improving the indicator by one position compared to last year's rating.

PJSC "Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works" is one of the world's largest steel producers and holds a leading position among Russian ferrous metallurgy enterprises. The company's assets in Russia represent a large metallurgical complex with a full production cycle, from the preparation of iron ore raw materials to the deep processing of ferrous metals. MMK manufactures a wide range of steel products with a predominant share of high value-added products. In 2019, MMK Group produced 12.5 million tonnes of steel and sold 11.3 million tonnes of steel products. MMK Group's revenue for 2019 amounted to $ 7.566 billion, EBITDA - $ 1.797 billion.
