Today, the "foxes" together with representatives of the companies "UMMC-Developer" and Gree Park extended the alley of trees on the embankment of the Iset River, planting willows near the residential complex "Makarovsky". This year, the UMMC team is preparing for the upcoming season in Yekaterinburg, so the athletes gladly took part in the city greening event. By the way, it was warm autumn weather. Tatyana Petrushina, forward of the UMMC team: - This place is not accidental for us. Literally a hundred meters from the alley where we planted trees, our team trains and plays home matches. And we also live nearby. Many residents of Yekaterinburg choose the embankment for walking and relaxation. Let's hope that our willows will take root and will delight everyone with their beautiful views, benefiting the city of Yekaterinburg. Evgeniya Khokhlova, Deputy General Director for Customer Relations, UMMC-Zastroyshchik: - In the places where our company is present, we not only remain on the designated territory but we also go out to the public in order to ennoble it. The idea of planting willows arose by analogy with Amsterdam, where a lot of these trees grow along the embankments, and they beautifully decorate the city. Of course, we selected all the plants for landscaping taking into account the climatic conditions of our region. Willows grow very quickly, so very soon this territory will become green and will delight the townspeople and residents of the Makarovsky residential complex. Maria Vadeeva, UMMC center team: - I plant trees for the first time and I am very glad that I was involved in this good cause. I would like more people to participate in such events and our world to become better and more environmentally friendly. Today, the willow alley on the Yekaterinburg embankment has increased to 23 trees. There is also a nameplate installed by the UMMC basketball players.
