Svyatogor JSC (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) has successfully passed the recertification audit of the existing management systems. The verification of the compliance of the integrated management system with international standards ISO 14001: 2015 (environmental management), ISO 9001: 2015 (quality management system), ISO 45001: 2018 (health and safety management) was carried out at the industrial site of the enterprise. A positive conclusion on its results was made by the auditors of the Certification Association "Russian Register" from St. Petersburg.
- The recertification check is, first of all, the effectiveness of the system, - said Olga Galyuk, expert of the Certification Association "Russian Register" ... - This is the ability to achieve the intended results, goals in the so-called area of the integrated management system. We visit divisions, communicate with a large number of people. And I can say with confidence that the activity of your enterprise meets the declared requirements every year.
For three days of audit, experts checked the activities of the main (mining and metallurgical shops), auxiliary divisions of the enterprise (sanitary laboratory, training center), and also enterprise management departments. In each of them, the auditors not only talked with staff and management, but also got acquainted with the available documentation, studied production activities in order to obtain audit evidence and assess the compliance of the divisions' activities with the requirements of international standards.
The results of the audit were summarized in the format video conferencing. As a result, the experts noted that the integrated management system operating at Svyatogor JSC meets international standards. The expert opinion will become the basis for the official confirmation of conformity in the international community and the issuance of new certificates of conformity to JSC "Svyatogor" for a three-year period.
