Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk Region)
In Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuyvashev and General Director of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Andrei Kozitsyn visited the newly built modern building of school number 25. Reconstruction of the educational institution, founded in 1957, was carried out with the support of the UMMC on the basis of the principles of public-private partnership. The first stage of large-scale work was completed in 2019, when the primary school building was commissioned, and today new premises for middle-level and high school students, as well as a modern sports complex, have been built and equipped.
After the reconstruction school # 25 has become one of the largest educational institutions in the region: the area of two detached buildings is over 36 thousand sq. sq.m. 1,700 people can study here in one shift. Classes in modern classrooms are not only attended by children from Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
School buses , for which garages are equipped, bring students here from neighboring villages - Zalesye, Zeleny Bor, Zavidovo and Sanatorny.
There are 57 high school classrooms in the high school building. The guests were shown workshops for wood and metalworking, a cooking and sewing room.
The school has a large number of high-quality equipment: interactive whiteboards in all classrooms have replaced plasma screens. There are also two language laboratories equipped.
For physical education and sports in the building for high school students there are four halls: three sports and a gym. Playgrounds for basketball, volleyball, gymnastics lessons and even a climbing wall have been organized. The physical culture and sports area also includes a mini-football field, a circular running track, a tennis court and other sports areas.
The educational building is equipped with an integrated security system with video surveillance, fire and burglar alarms, an access control system .
