Employees of the Moscow office of Severstal visited the Super Dog animal shelter.
The Super Dog project was created by enthusiasts in 2010 to protect and provide decent living conditions for homeless animals, as well as to transfer them to families. Representatives of the shelter dream of making sure that there are no abandoned and unnecessary dogs. The visit of the volunteers was very timely and useful, especially in view of the upcoming winter cold snap, ”said Yekaterina Galitskaya, corporate volunteer coordinator.
The company announced the upcoming campaign in advance, which resulted in a substantial amount of money collected for the needs of animals. Several dozen people took part in the clean-up, including employees, their families and friends. The volunteers brought “gifts” to the shelter - food for animals, hygiene items, and each of the participants talked and walked with “their” dog.
“It is gratifying to see that a growing number of our employees are involved in important volunteer work. It is also a matter of respect that many take part in such charity events together with family members, children, with friends, showing great involvement and indifference to those who need our care, "said Natalia Poppel, Head of CSR and Brand Department.
"We are glad that we talked to the lovely and touching dogs, who were delighted with our visit and the opportunity to walk and play with the guests. The staff of the shelter expressed their gratitude for the support that will allow the shelter pets to eat well for a whole month," commented the Administrative Director of the company Anton Artyukhin.
