Metalloinvest received an award for winning the All-Russian competition "Leaders of Russian Business: Dynamics, Responsibility, Sustainability - 2019" in the nomination "For Contribution to the Social Development of Territories." The Company was awarded within the framework of the Russian Business Week held by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE).
This year 152 companies took part in the competition in 8 nominations.

The company became the winner of the Leaders of Corporate Philanthropy competition, and Metalloinvest's enterprises were recognized as a Russian organization of high social efficiency. At the end of last year, the Company again entered the ranks of the leaders of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable development - Responsibility and Transparency and Vector of Sustainable Development.
In 2019, Metalloinvest was awarded the Silver rating by EcoVadis with with a final score of 60 points with an industry average of 43 points. In 2020, the Company received a C- rating from the ISS ESG agency, showing results above the average in the metallurgical sector.
Metalloinvest attaches great importance to openness and exchange of experience in order to achieve strategic goals of sustainable development. To this end, the Company has been publishing non-financial statements since 2009. In 2019, Metalloinvest took a high 4th place in the WWF rating of openness of mining and metallurgical companies.
The All-Russian competition "Leaders of Russian Business: Dynamics, Responsibility, Sustainability" is held annually by the RUIE. The objectives of the competition are to contribute to the sustainable development of companies that meets the long-term economic interests of the Russian Federation, as well as to identify dynamically developing companies based on the economic and social indicators of their activities.
The company has been repeatedly recognized as the winner of the RUIE competition in various nominations: “For high quality reporting in the field of sustainable development”, “For environmental responsibility”, “For the development of intersectoral partnership in solving social problems of territories”, “For contribution to solving social problems of the territories.”
