Andrey Cherepov graduated from the Siberian State Industrial University with a degree in underground mining of mineral deposits.

In 2015-2020, Andrey Cherepov held the positions of technical director and executive director of Raspadskaya Coal Company, one of the largest coal companies in Russia.
