Company metalloinvest, a leading manufacturer and supplier of iron ore products and HBI in the world market, one of the regional producers of high quality steel, announced the appointment of Nazim Efendiyev, General Director of Management company "metalloinvest".
He will combine the duties of the first Deputy General Director – commercial Director.
"Nazim Efendiev has a deep knowledge of the business processes of the Company and a lot of managerial experience, - said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of management company metalloinvest Ivan Streshinsky. - He made a great contribution to the establishment and development of metalloinvest, after almost two decades together with Andrei Varichev. Under the leadership of Nazim Efendiyev, the Company will continue implementation of a policy of dynamic development. I am sure that the team is headed by the Nazim Efendiev will provide stable work of the company in the period of turbulence in the global economy and will continue to implement projects aimed at further strengthening its market positions".
Taufikovich Nazim Efendiyev was born in 1963 in Baku. In 1985 he graduated from the Military Institute of foreign languages, and in 1995 the Academy of national economy MBA program, a special program of international management at Kingston University (UK). In 2018 – 2019 has been trained on the program Advanced Management Program at the business school IESE, University of Navarra.
Since 1996 worked in the company "Siberian aluminium" to the Deputy commercial Director of the Sayan aluminum plant, the Director of the Trading house of Samara metallurgical plant, was the head of the rolling division of the company "Russian aluminium".
In 2001 became Director for sales at JSC "NOSTA" and JSC "Ural Steel". Since 2004 — General Director of JSC "Ural Steel". In 2006 – 2007 he was Executive Director of management company metalloinvest. In 2007 – 2009 he headed as General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Engineering Corporation "Uralmash".
From June 2010 — managing Director of JSC "Ural Steel". In 2011 – 2012 he was Deputy General Director for interaction with public authorities of management company metalloinvest.
Since March 2012 till present – first Deputy General Director – commercial Director UK "metalloinvest".
