Severstal's Corporate Social Responsibility and Development Sustainability Report became the winner of the XXIII Annual Competition for Annual Reports of the Moscow Exchange. The company received an award in the category "Best Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Report"
In addition, according to the results of a survey of international investors conducted by Istitutioal Ivestor, Severstal was shortlisted for Best Сorporate for ESG Russia 2020 , Best CFO Russia 2020 (Alexey Kulichenko), Best Corporate by Large Cap IR Russia 2020.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition was held online for the first time.

The annual reports competition, organized by the Moscow Exchange and the Securities Market Media Group, is one of the most important events of the year in the field of corporate governance and investor relations, a platform for the formation of standards for presenting information about the business and the company's development strategy for its shareholders, identifying modern trends and best practices in terms of content, structure and design of annual reports.
The nomination "Best Report on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development" was established by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which annually awards companies with the most complete and quality o disclosed information in the field of sustainable development, including indicators of financial, environmental and social sustainability.
The report on corporate social responsibility and sustainability of Severstal has been issued annually since 2010 in accordance with the international standard of non-financial reporting - the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI), taking into account the main topics of the Social Responsibility Guidelines (ISO 26000 standard). The document reveals the principles of the company's activities in the field of sustainable development, its impact on the economy, society and the environment. The document reflects the contribution of Severstal to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
