From November 23 to November 27, the leading expert of the Certification Association "Russian Register" conducted a recertification audit of the environmental management system (EMS) in order to assess its compliance with the requirements of the international ISO standard 14001: 2015 and labor protection and industrial safety management systems (OSH&PB) with the transition to the new standard ISO 45001: 2018, which replaced OHSAS18001: 2007.
The audit was held in the subdivisions of the Verkhnepyshminskaya site, branches of Alloy Production non-ferrous metals "and" Production of polymetals ". In general, the heads and personnel of the divisions demonstrated a high level of competence, awareness of environmental issues, labor protection and industrial safety, openness and interest in the objective results of the audit.
During the audits, system documents were reviewed, including the new Policy , issues related to the context of the organization, management of risks and opportunities, management and performance measurement in the field of environmental and health protection.

At the final meeting, the auditor Aleksey Aleksandrov thanked for active participation in the audit, highly appreciated its results, confirming the compliance of the management systems of Uralelectromed JSC with the requirements of international standards, and gave an opinion on the issuance of new certificates for the next 3 years.
The day before conducting an external audit at the enterprise by the order of the director, a new Policy in the field of quality, ecology, labor protection and industrial safety, energy consumption and energy efficiency of Uralelectromed JSC was adopted, developed taking into account the requirements of the new international standard ISO 45001: 2018. This is a fundamental systemic document, which formulates the strategic directions of the enterprise and the obligations for their implementation.
