Specialists of OJSC “BMZ, the management company of the holding“ BMK ”, have developed technologies for the production of two new types of RML wire with an increased level of strength characteristics. The customers of these products were consumers from Poland and Austria.
In accordance with the high demands of the market, the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant is constantly improving the quality of its products and expanding its line at all redistributions. So, this year, the technical services of the enterprise made samples of RML wire with an increased level of strength with diameters of 0.56 and 0.30 millimeters. Its characteristics met the requirements of customers, after which pilot batches were released and shipped. At the moment, the results of processing new types of wire RML are expected at factories in Poland and Austria.
& bsp; & bsp; RML wire intended for reinforcement of high-pressure hoses is a product of deep processing. In November, its production at BMZ amounted to more than 3300 tons, which is one of the best indicators in the current year and significantly exceeds the level of November 2019. The achievement of this indicator was largely facilitated by the modernization of 25 drawing mills of the steel wire shop No. 2 carried out this year.
& bsp; & bsp; The main part of the RML wire produced at the plant is sold in foreign markets. This year, the volume of its exports has already exceeded $ 24 million, and the geography includes 16 countries of the world, including Singapore, Japan, Korea and the United States. The largest consumers of these products for BMZ are Italy and Turkey.
& bsp; & bsp; Currently BMZ produces more than 40 types of RML wire of various strength groups in the diameter range from 0.15 to 0.80 millimeters.
