Sibkabel JSC (part of the Cable Alliance Holding, which unites the cable assets of UMMC) will master the production of a new type of product - wires with polyimide-fluoroplastic insulation, which will expand sales markets. For this purpose, two new horizontal insulating lines were purchased. High-tech equipment worth more than 88 million rubles was installed in workshop No. 2 (enamel wrapping production). It is intended for the production of winding wires used in the railway industry. “The essence of the technological process is wrapping copper wire with polyimide-fluoroplastic film and baking it to a monolithic state. Such wires have increased operational properties, including they are efficient at temperatures from minus 60 to plus 200 degrees ", - explained Roman Khabarov, head of the prospective development department of Sibkabel JSC. The fluoroplastic polyimide film has more advanced physical and mechanical characteristics: increased strength tightness, chemical and radiation resistance. The planned volume of production of a new type of product is about 250 tons per month. "Enamel-wrapping production of Sibkabel JSC is the only enterprise in Siberia and beyond the Urals that produces winding wires with enamel and fiberglass insulation. This year we have an opportunity to expand the range of products, completely covering the market needs in this segment. The large-scale investment program also covers other areas of the enterprise's activities; this year, about 400 million rubles have been invested in the main production, ”said plant director Alexei Zhuzhin.
