Elektrokabel Kolchuginsky Plant and Sibkabel (part of the Cable Alliance Holding, which unites the cable assets of UMMC) have launched online tours of workshops and non-production facilities. The factories have created 3D tours that include an overview of the main and auxiliary production areas.
Users can see how various types of cables are produced, look into the test chamber, the technical control department and the plant management. On the site, you can freely move around the dining room, gym, first-aid post and enter service offices. In addition to volumetric visualization, the tour contains video clips. Along the way, you can watch videos that demonstrate the work of a particular production line or specialist.
- First of all, such 3D tours are intended for job seekers and new employees. Any candidate who is going to come to the company is interested in the production and social conditions of work - how the workshop premises look from the inside, where employees have lunch, whether the company has an opportunity to do sports. Modern people choose with their eyes, they do not want to remain outside observers, preferring to watch a picture or video, rather than look for textual answers to their questions, - said Denis Frolov, head of the HR technology department of Cable Alliance Holding (HCA).
Personnel officers believe that virtual tours of cable factories will also be of interest to schoolchildren and students who are just deciding on their profession. In addition, existing and potential partners of enterprises will be able to visit the production without leaving the computer.
- There are many requests for excursions, including from our customers. We try to respond to their requests, but we cannot always invite everyone to the production. Thanks to the creation of a 3D tour posted on the official website of the enterprise, our partners will be able to visit the workshops and see with their own eyes how high-quality cable and wire products are produced, - said Vladimir Ivanov, director of Electrokabel, Kolchuginsky Plant.
